A community memorial service was held in El Paso tonight to remember the victims of the mass shootings that took place at a Walmart earlier this month. Texas Governor Greg Abbott was among those to speak during the service. Abbott said, "I want you to know that the prayers of the entire state are with you here tonight and they will remain with you every day the Sun rises in the east." Abbott went on to say, "we will not allow our hearts to be hardened and we will not allow hatred to stoke more hatred. Instead, we will conquer evil with goodness and compassion and love for one another."
