The Texas Rangers are going to look into a meeting between Texas House Speaker James Bonnen and conservative activist Michael Quinn Sullivan. A House committee unanimously voted in favor of the move today. Sullivan accused Bonnen of offering House floor credentials to his media outlet if he targeted ten Republican incumbents next year. Bonnen originally claimed the allegations weren't true but later apologized after Sullivan said he had a recording of the meeting. No word on when the probe will be completed.
