Vietnam War pilot's remains returned home to Texas

The remains of a Vietnam War pilot who was shot down on a mission in northern Laos in 1967, were returned home to Texas today. When Air Force Col. Roy Knight Jr. of Milsaps, left Texas 52 years ago, his then 5 year old son, Bryan, was there to wave goodbye. Today, his son was the pilot of a Southwest Airlines plane that brought his remains back home. The plane landed in Dallas at Love Field after an emotional fight. His body was never recovered at the time, but an investigating team discovered remains this year and scientists were able to use dental remains to positively identify the missing pilot.

As the plane landed in Dallas, passengers were lining windows in the terminal to honor what was taking place.
