El Paso Prosecutors To Seek Death Penalty In Walmart Shooting

Federal prosecutors say they're seeking the death penalty for the man accused of killing 22 people in an El Paso mass shooting. U.S. Attorney John Bash said the government will be pursuing federal criminal, hate crime and domestic terrorism charges against the 21-year-old gunman. The suspect allegedly opened fire inside a Walmart store, killing at least 22 and injuring more than two dozen. The suspect made a ten-hour drive to El Paso from his home near Dallas, and police say his weapon was obtained legally.
