Michael Brantley homered twice and drove in three runs as the Astros beat the Rangers 5-3 in Houston. Jose Altuve added a solo shot to the win. Rogelio Armenteros yielded one run and two hits over five innings to pick up his first big league victory. Houston won its fifth straight. Lance Lynn struck out 12, but yielded four runs over seven innings to take the loss. Logan Forsythe and Nomar Mazara homered in defeat. The Rangers lost their seventh in a row.
