President Trump says U.S. forces took down an Iranian drone that was flying too close to the USS Boxer in the Strait of Hormuz. At the White House today, Trump said the drone came within one-thousand yards of the Navy warship. He noted that the drone was destroyed. Trump said numerous calls to "stand down" were ignored. He said the drone was threatening the safety of the ship and the crew. Trump also warned Iran to stop provocative and hostile actions in international waters.
