Angels Jump On Astros With Six-Run First

The Angels reeled off six runs in the first inning as they jumped on the Astros 7-2 in Anaheim. Albert Pujols clubbed a bases-clearing double to break the inning open and Luis Rengifo tacked on an RBI single. Andrew Heaney pitched into in the fifth, but Noe Ramirez earned the win. The Halos are riding a five-game winning streak. Hector Rondon got chased in the first inning for Houston to take the loss. Tyler White had a pair of RBI singles for the first-place Astros who are 2-and-4 since the All-Star break.
