Tropical Storm Barry Continues Trek Northward

Tropical Storm Barry is slowly moving northward over Louisiana. The National Weather Service says maximum sustained winds are at 40 miles-per-hour and the storm is located about 15 miles east-southeast of Shreveport, Louisiana. Barry is moving to the north-northwest at nine miles-per-hour. The storm is still forecast to move across the northwestern portions of Louisiana today and over Arkansas tonight and into tomorrow. Storm surge, wind, tornadoes and heavy rainfall are expected.
