Jose Altuve pounded a grand slam in a seven-run seventh in the Astros' 12-4 win over the Rangers in Arlington. Yuli Gurriel drove in three, including two with a homer in the seventh. Justin Verlander allowed two runs in first inning, but no hits his final five innings to notch his 11th win. Houston is 4-and-2 in its last six games. Ariel Jurado was the losing pitcher, yielding five runs on seven hits and four walks over four innings. Willie Calhoun had two of the Texas five hits and a RBI. The Rangers have lost two straight and eight of 12.
