Louisiana braces for Barry

Tropical Storm Barry is gaining strength as it heads toward New Orleans. The National Hurricane Center says the storm now has sustained winds of 65 miles-per-hour with higher gusts. Barry is expected to reach hurricane strength today or early tomorrow, and could bring life-threatening flooding along coasts and rivers. The storm is currently about 100 miles from the Louisiana coast, where a hurricane warning is in effect. Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has declared a state of emergency and two parishes in Louisiana are under mandatory evacuation orders.
