Angels Top Rangers 6-2

Mike Trout homered twice and drove in four as the Angels topped the Rangers 6-2 in Arlington. With emotions still high after the death of Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs on Monday, Trout hit a three-run shot in the third to put LA ahead 4-0. He tacked on a solo shot in the sixth for the Halos, who are 2-and-0 since Skaggs' death. Jaime Barria struck out eight over five innings to get the win. The Halos honored Skaggs by wearing a jersey patch with his name and number. Ariel Jurado took the loss. Tim Federowicz homered for Texas, which has lost four straight.
