Angels Earn Emotional Win Over Rangers

One day after the death of pitcher Tyler Skaggs, the Angels earned an emotional 9-4 win over the Rangers in Arlington. A number-45 was painted on the back on the mound and a moment of silence was held before the game. Jonathan Lucroy drove in three runs, and Kole Calhoun capped the scoring with a two-run homer for LA. The Angels snapped a three-game skid to even their record at 43-and-43. Delino DeShields homered in defeat for Texas. Mike Minor was pulled in the fifth inning, with Peter Fairbanks taking the loss in relief.
