North Korea Responds To Trump Offer

President Trump is inviting North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to meet him for a historic handshake in the DMZ. Trump said on Twitter he'll be in South Korea Sunday to meet with President Moon. He also offered to meet Kim Jong Un during his visit to the demilitarized zone between North and South Korea, "just to shake his hand and say hello." In a news conference after the G20 summit in Japan, Trump told reporters that North Korea responded "very favorably" to his offer.

Trump's offer on Twitter read, "After some very important meetings, including my meeting with President Xi of China, I will be leaving Japan for South Korea (with President Moon). While there, if Chairman Kim of North Korea sees this, I would meet him at the Border/DMZ just to shake his hand and say Hello(?)!"
