US Women's Soccer Team Opens World Cup Action With Huge Win

The U.S. Women's soccer team is off to a strong start in the World Cup in France. The U.S. dominated Thailand in its opening match with a 13-0 win. Team USA's decisive victory set a record for the biggest Women's World Cup win. Alex Morgan was the stand out, scoring five goals. That matched a record for the most goals ever scored by an American woman in the World Cup. Team USA is the defending women's FIFA World Cup champion after winning it all in 2015. The Americans will go up against Chile on Sunday and then take on Sweden next Thursday.
