A man will serve a life sentence without parole for the murders of his wife and a friend. John Waclawczyk fatally shot Justine Waclawczyk and Andrew Toscano at the couple's home in Poth a year ago. Waclawczyk pleaded guilty on Monday, the one-year anniversary of the crime. He entered a guilty plea in order to avoid the death penalty, and also agreed he will make no appeals. The circumstances surrounding the murders haven't been made public. Prosecutors say the question of motive is complicated.
