Report: Trump Will Address Nation On Fourth Of July

President Trump will address the nation from the Lincoln Memorial on the Fourth of July. The Washington Post reports U.S. Park Police have been notified that Trump plans to move forward with plans to speak at the memorial on Independence Day. Trump previously floated the idea of changing up the annual celebration on the National Mall, but had yet to confirm that he'd participate. Park Police are working with the White House to determine how the President's presence will affect security surrounding the event. DC Mayor Muriel Bowser previously spoke out against Trump's plans, citing security and logistical concerns. The Trump administration also wants to move the fireworks display from its usual location on the National Mall to West Potomac Park.
