The NCAA is moving back the three-point line in college basketball more than a foot. The NCAA Playing Rules Oversight Panel has approved several changes, including moving the three-pointer to 22-feet, 1.75-inches starting next season. That's the same as the international distance and up from the previous 20-feet, nine-inches. This is the first change to the three-point line since 2008-09. Among the other proposals approved by the panel were allowing coaches to call live-ball timeouts in the last two minutes of the second half and overtime, and conducting instant replay on goaltending or basket interference calls in the final two minutes of the second half and OT.
