Michael Brantley and Yuli Gurriel delivered 12th-inning RBI-singles to lift the Astros to a 6-4 win over the Athletics in Oakland. Gurriel had three hits and two RBI, while Myles Straw contributed three singles, swiped three bases and scored three runs. Josh James picked up the win for Houston, which swept the series. Robbie Grossman, Jurickson Profar, Ramon Laureano and Matt Chapman hit solo shots in defeat. Lou Trivino took the loss. The A's have dropped five in a row.
