A statue of Theodore "Teddy Roosevelt on a horse has been installed outside the Menger Hotel in downtown San Antonio. The sculpture is part of the Briscoe Western Art Museum's “Alamo Sculpture Trail” series. The series includes 14 statues linking The Alamo to the museum. Roosevelt trained with the "Rough Riders" regiment in San Antonio during the Spanish-American War.
