Nomar Mazara and Ronald Guzman homered as the Rangers annihilated the Mariners 11-4 in Seattle. Adrian Sampson worked five innings in relief, allowing three runs to get the win for the Rangers. Texas is 3-and-1 this season when not using a traditional starting pitcher. Mallex Smith had three hits and two RBI for Seattle, which has lost seven-of-eight. Marco Gonzales took the loss after allowing eight runs on eight hits in four innings.
