Alex Bregman hammered two homers and drove in three runs as the Astros turned back the Cubs 9-6 in Houston. Michael Brantley had two hits and two RBI in the win. Roberto Osuna closed it out for his 15th save. Houston is 4-and-1 in its last five. David Bote homered twice and drove in three Chicago runs. Jason Heyward, Addison Russell and Kyle Schwarber hit solo shots in defeat. Jon Lester took the loss. He is 0-and-3, allowing 16 earned runs in 14 innings in his last three starts. The Cubs lost for the fifth time in six games.
