A Bexar County jury is acquitting a man in connection with a 2016 double murder. Luis Arroyo was accused of killing Rodney Spring and Quickether Jackson during an argument over cigarettes. Defense attorneys argued Arroyo was misidentified by Jackson's mother, who was also injured. The 42-year-old could still spend the rest of his life in prison after being given 99 years in March for escaping the Bexar County Jail. Arroyo is eligible for parole.
