A man who police say was 'sitting' on the railroad tracks that run past the Alamodome was killed early today when he was hit by a train, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the engineer of the freight train sounded his horn several times but the guy didn't budge. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
It happend on Iowa St, just south of the Alamodome.
Union Pacific officials are investigating.
