Abducted Fort Worth Girl Found, Suspect Arrested

Fort Worth police say a girl who was kidnapped as she walked down a street last night has been found safe and the suspect in the kidnapping.

Police in Fort Worth say Salem Sabatka was grabbed and whisked into a car by a man Saturday night in the 2900 block of 6th Avenue in Fort Worth. Salem's mom jumped in to pull her child back out but was pushed out herself by the abductor who drove off.

Early this morning on a tip from two church members who recognized the vehicle from the AMBER Alert investigators showed up at the Woodspring Suites hotel. There, officers found Salem in a room with 51-year old Michael Webb. Salem was taken to the hospital to be checked out, although investigators say she seemed to be in good shape when they rescued her.

Police say Webb will be facing aggravated kidnapping charges.
