Derion Vence hearing delayed in Maleah Davis case

Protesters crowded the court house today for what was scheduled to be a hearing for Derion Vence, the stepfather of 4-year-old Maleah Davis who has been missing for more than a week. Davis' hearing was delayed. The group chanted, "Justice for Maleah" as the girl's mother and community activist Quanell X left the courthouse.

Vence was arrested over the weekend and is facing a charge of tampering with evidence, namely a human corpse. He remains held, with bail set at a dollar shy of one million dollars.
