George Springer went 5-for-5 with two home runs and four RBIs as the Astros routed the Rangers 15-5 in Houston. Alex Bregman also homered twice and drove in five runs in the victory. Corbin Martin worked into the sixth inning, allowing two runs and striking out nine to pick up the win in his big league debut. Houston has won five straight and is 8-and-1 in its last nine games. Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Elvis Andrus homered for Texas. Adrian Sampson failed to make it out of a four-run fourth to take the loss. The Rangers were swept in the four-game series to fall a season-worst four-games below .500.
