Texas and UTSA have announced a five-game series on the gridiron that will begin in 2022 and continue every other year through 2030. All five contests will be held at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium at Joe Jamail Field in Austin.
The teams will meet for the first time on the football field on Sept. 17, 2022.

Texas will be the fourth different Big 12 Conference team that UTSA has faced in its history. The Roadrunners upended Baylor by a 17-10 score on Sept. 9, 2017, for their inaugural win against a team from a Power 5 conference and they are 1-1 all-time against the Bears, who they will face again on Sept. 7 in Waco. UTSA also has played Oklahoma State three times and Kansas State twice.
