The Rangers put up seven runs in the final two innings to rally past the Pirates 9-6 in Pittsburgh. Pinch-hitter Hunter Pence smacked a game-tying grand slam in the eighth inning, while Isiah Kiner-Falefa doubled in the go-ahead run in the ninth. Rougned Odor capped the rally with a two-run homer as Texas earned a split the two-game series. Joey Gallo's two-run homer in the third inning made him the fastest player in American League history to reach 100 career home runs. Ariel Jurado was credited with the win and Chris Martin earned his first save. Josh Bell and Colin Moran went deep for the Bucs, who had won their previous three. Tyler Lyons suffered his first loss.
