The White House is imposing new sanctions on Iran that focuses on the country's metal sectors. In an executive order today, the White House announced sanctions on the purchase of iron, steel, aluminum and copper due to growing tensions about nuclear power. The statement says the United States "will deny Iran all paths to both a nuclear weapon and intercontinental missiles." The move comes on the anniversary of Trump's announcement that he was withdrawing the U.S. from the Iran nuclear deal.
