Ex-A&M Football Player Guilty In Machete Death

A former Texas A&M football player is guilty in a 2015 machete death. A Dallas County jury convicted Thomas Johnson of murder today after his attorneys did not put up a defense. Johnson admitted to hacking Dave Stevens to death while the victim was jogging on the White Rock Creek Trail. Johnson's family says he was diagnosed with schizophrenia in 2014. He was a wide receiver with the Aggies when they beat Alabama in 2012. Johnson disappeared days after the game and never returned to the school. He could get life in prison or be sent to a mental hospital for the rest of his life.
