A passenger in a rideshare vehicle was shot and killed by another passenger this afternoon. It happened at FM Road 1960 and TC Jester Boulevard in Harris County.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said driver who said he was on an Uber call, picked up a male at a location and a companion began shooting at the male passenger while he was in the backseat. The driver left with the injured male and called police. The victim later died.
A search is on for the shooter. The rideshare driver was not hurt.
