Cardinals Take QB Murray First In NFL Draft

Heisman Trophy winner Kyler Murray was the top pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. The Arizona Cardinals took the Oklahoma quarterback first-overall at the draft in Nashville. The San Francisco 49ers then selected Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa number-two. Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams went third overall to the New York Jets. The Oakland Raiders came up with the first surprise, taking Clemson defensive end Clelin Ferrell with the fourth pick. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers took LSU linebacker Devin White fifth. The New York Giants drafted the potential successor to Eli Manning in Duke quarterback Daniel Jones with the sixth pick. The second and third rounds take place Friday, with the draft wrapping up on Saturday with rounds four through seven.
