Barr: No Collusion

Attorney General Bill Barr says Special Counsel Robert Mueller found no evidence of collusion between Russia and the Trump presidential campaign in 2016. Speaking at the Justice Department today, Barr said President Trump was understandably frustrated and angry about the investigation but insisted that there was no evidence that Trump engaged in obstruction of justice. Mueller did not fully exonerate Trump on obstruction. Barr also said Mueller found no evidence that any Americans were involved in the attempted interference.

The roughly 400 page Mueller report is the result of the nearly two-year investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. Barr called a news briefing before making the redacted Mueller report public.
