Joey Gallo's infield single plated two runs in the seventh to break a tie and send the Rangers to a 6-4 win over the Astros in Arlington. Asdrúbal Cabrera belted a two-run homer in the second inning for Texas. José Leclerc pitched a spotless ninth for his second save. Astros ace Justin Verlander was pulled in the fifth and was charged with four runs on six hits and three walks. Josh Reddick had three hits, walked and scored a run for Houston, which fell to 2-and-4. Framber Valdez took the loss.
