Astros Squeak Out Win Over Rangers

Brad Peacock allowed two hits and one run while pitching into the seventh inning in the Astros' 2-1 win over the Rangers in Arlington. George Springer led off the game with a home run. Robinson Chirinos doubled home Carlos Correa for the go-ahead run in the sixth. Ronald Guzman homered for Texas. Rangers lefty Drew Smyly, who was making his first big league start since 2016 following elbow surgery, was removed after three innings and 73 pitches. Adrian Sampson went the final six and took the loss.
