Senator Elizabeth Warren is proposing breaking up big tech companies like Amazon, Google and Facebook. The proposal from the Massachusetts Democrat would require tech companies with 25-billion dollars or more in annual revenue to spin off parts of their business. It would also seek to undo some of the large mergers in the industry. The proposal from the Democratic presidential candidate comes as internet giants face mounting backlash against claims of monopolizing the industry.
