The Democratic response to President Trump's State of the Union address next week will be given by Stacey Abrams - the former nominee for Georgia governor. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer made the announcement at the Capitol today and heaped praise on Abrams. She lost a close governor's race in Georgia in November.
