Midwest, Great Lakes Prepare For Polar Vortex

Dangerously cold temperatures are making their way across the Midwest and Great Lakes. A polar vortex will bring temperatures colder than many have ever experienced, with an actual air temperature being 20 to 35-degrees below zero on Wednesday. Wind chill will likely make it feel closer to 55-below zero, and wind chill watches are in full effect. The extreme cold has caused nearly a thousand flights across the country to be canceled and more than 200 others delayed.
