Polar Vortex Ushers In Cold Weather Across Much Of The Country

A Polar Vortex is bringing potentially record-breaking cold air across the Midwest this week.  A snowstorm across the Great Lakes brought several inches of snow to Chicago and parts of Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin and Iowa.  Chicago could see the coldest day ever recorded on Wednesday, as highs are forecast to only be 14-below-zero with wind chills as low as 55-below.  Other parts of the Plains states could even wind chils hit 60-below.  Parts of the deep south aren't immune to the cold and snow either, as a couple inches of snow could fall in parts of Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee tomorrow and Wednesday.
