A 36 year old man is hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds after he was shot in a robbery attempt as he sat in his car waiting for the light to change, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Sheriff's deputies say the victim was stopped at the red light at Culebra and Alamo Parkway, in the Alamo Ranch subdivision early todaywhen another vehicle pulled up next to him.
A man in that car rolled down the window, pointed a gun at the victim, and demanded money.
When the victim said he didn't have any money, the suspect fired several shots into the victim's car.
The victim drove to a nearly convenience store where EMS was called.
The victim is in stable condition.. The gunman sped away and remains at large.
