A stubborn fire overnight caused significant damage to the office building that houses the offices of McCombs Enterprises, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
When firefighters arrived at the building in the 8200 block of I-10 West, they found heavy smoke pouring out of the building.
They found fire inside the building.. It took an hour and a half to put it out.
A district chief estimated damage to the building at $100,000.. There is no word on the cause of the fire.
The building was empty at the time and nobody was hurt.
