A teenager was shot and wounded overnight in the parking lot of a northwast side Whataburger, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say two teens had pulled up to the Whataburger at I-10 and DeZavala Rd about 11PM, when a car full of men pulled in behind them.
Police aren't sure if it was a robbery attempt, but the men tried to get the teens out of the car, and a 17 year old was shot.He was rushed to the hospital in stable condition. Detectives don't know whether anything was taken from the teens.
The suspects sped away on I-10 and remain at large.
