The Monopoly board game is being turned into a movie with Kevin Hart. The comedian has reportedly signed on to star in a live-action Monopoly movie from Lionsgate and Hasbro. The plot of the movie has not been revealed, but a previous version of the project followed a young man from Baltic Avenue on his quest to make a fortune. Hart recently resigned as host of the Oscars because of a controversy surrounding old homophobic tweets. His new movie The Upside, however, has been a surprise box-office success.
