The 46th March for Life was held in Washington, DC. on Friday. Vice President Pence and his wife Karen made a surprise appearance at the event. The VP said he and his wife stand for Life and compassion. He noted that the right to Life is guaranteed in the Constitution. Pence said, "Life is winning in America." March for Life President Jeanne Mancini said abortion is an issue of human rights abuse. She also called it an act of profound social injustice. The annual event protests the Supreme Court's Roe versus Wade ruling in 1973.
