An estimated 500 people turned out last evening for a candlelight vigil in memory of Nicol Olsen and her two daughters, who a week ago were found dead inside a posh West Bexar County home, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Family and friends stepped in turn to the lectern as dusk and a fine drizzle fell upon the Oblate Missions Grotto on the city's north side to share remembrances with supporters and well-wishers in attendance. Organizers say credit a social media blitz for the capacity-plus turnout.

Co-organizer Nicole Baptiste says as the case has attracted attention across the U.S. and overseas, people want to know more about the victims.

"There's such support for the three of them right now - so much support for them," Baptiste says.

Earlier this week the Bexar County Medical Examiner ruled the deaths murder-suicide. Conflicting reports identify the dead girls as Olsen's two daughters  ages 16 and 10, although officially the medical examiner has posItively identified only the older girl as Alexa Montez. The younger victim is presumed to be Olsen's younger daughter, London Sophia Bribiescas.

Olsen's boyfriend told investigators he found all three dead around 9 a.m. Jan. 10 when he returned to the Anaqua Springs luxury subdivision home near Leon Springs where he lived with Olsen and her girls. He is cooperating with authorities.

Baptiste says those who knew Olsen do not believe the official version of events, and vow to keep pressure on law enforcement to pursue the case.

"We're gonna keep fighting," she says. "We're gonna keep fighting for them and the truth will come to light."Baptiste's sentIment is echoed by Olsen friend and vIgil co-organizer Aaron Seaman.

"For her friends and family and those who cared about her, I think our task is to continue to tell the story, continue to bring attention to this," Seaman says.
