'Blood SuperMoon' Total Lunar Eclipse This Weekend

Skywatchers are in for a rare treat this weekend. Astronomers say a rare "blood supermoon" will be on display Sunday night and Monday morning.  According to Space.com, this type of total lunar eclipse gets its nickname for its reddish color and its apparent size due to its closer proximity to Earth.  If weather and sky conditions cooperate, viewers in the U.S. will see the moon turn deep crimson starting Sunday at 11:41 p.m. Eastern.
