Police say an 82 year old woman is hospitalized after she was shot accidentally by two men who were apparently shooting wildly at one another across New Braunfels Ave. overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the men had fired several rounds across the crowded street when the elderly woman and her husband drove innocently down the street and were caught in the crossfire.
The woman suffered a gunshot wound and was rushed to SAMMC in undetermined condition. The husband was not hurt.
As frequently happens with incidents involving cowards like these, the two men who were shooting at each other quickly scampered away and remain at large.
