Trump Indicates Restraint With Declaring National Border Emergency

President Trump says he won't be declaring a national emergency at the border immediately.  Hosting a roundtable discussion at the White House today, Trump remarked that he's "not looking" to declare a national emergency right now.  He added that Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer need to tell him if Congress can't "do its job."  An emergency declaration could allow Trump to divert money from the Defense Department for a border wall.  Trump's demand for border wall funding prompted the ongoing partial shutdown of the federal government.
