A San Antonio Police Detective was arrested today by Bexar County Sheriff's Deputies on charges of domestic violence, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The SAPD Public Information Office identifies the arrested officer as Detective Daniel Pue, an 11 year veteran assigned to the Repeat Offender Program.
A Sheriff's report indicates that deputies were called to a home in the 11000 block of Barclay Point, which is near Taft High School off Culebra Road, on a report of a woman whose face was bloodied calling for help.
They say when they arrived, Detective Pue tried to run back into the home, but was arrested on charges of Assault Bodily Injury-Family Violence.
No word on what the relationship is between the woman and the arrested detective. Det. Pue is on administrative leave while the investigation is underway.
