Spurs Use Big Second Quarter To Top Grizzlies

The Spurs got huge contributions off the bench to beat the Grizzlies 108-88  in  San Antonio. Reserves Patty Mills had 15 points and Jakob Poeltl 11.  Derrick White added 19 points and LaMarcus  Aldridge 18 for the Spurs,  who outscored Memphis 37-19 in the second period.  San Antonio has won  four straight and is in a virtual tie with Houston atop the Southwest  Division.  Mike Conley led Memphis with 21 points.  Jaren Jackson Junior  and Dillon Brooks each had 15 points in the loss.  The Grizzlies have  lost five in a row and 10-out-of-12.
